A Bridge Over Troubled Water is a place of safety, comfort, security and rest. When troubled waters (hard times) are causing you to be adrift in the journey of life, know that there is - A Bridge Over Troubled Water!
Welcome to a Bridge Over Troubled Water, LLC. My name is Sherrie A. Stevens and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (2008). My experience as a therapist includes work with adolescents, adults, and couples - though my current focus is adults and couples. I am a wife, mother and a lover of people. When not at work I enjoy being outdoors, reading, traveling and spending time with my family. I love to laugh and I am not above laughing at myself. I view my role as a partner in your wellness journey and would enjoy teaming with you to reach your desired outcomes. I have experience addressing a range of counseling concerns to include: depression, stress, anxiety, marital distress, trauma and PTSD. The treatment modality will depend upon your individual goals.

Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
